Things sort of did not turn out to be what I was hoping for...Which brings to why would we hope for something that we fear it might not happen? Some might argue that hope gives us temporary comfort and prompts us to work harder towards whatever we wanted; however others may debate hope as a false sense of security from the inevitable disappointment...
Let us say that now we all have the ability to analyse a situation thoroughly, such that we are able to accurately calculate the percentage of success of a task that we are supposed to do...If the percentage calculated is low..then what is the point hoping for something that is most likely never to be achieved? This might be true within those who actually paused to think about several consequences that may happen from a single action..
However, won't this kill off the fun of trying something new? As in, since there is still a small percentage of success, why not home into this small percentage and make the best out of it? This style of strategy could be more fun and rewarding?
But yeah...some may start to give up before the game even started, simply because of some negative indicators showing that they couldn't go the distance...Well, I guess this is where hope comes in..
Hopefully, things will turn around for the better by this weekend...
