Does anyone ever thought about how exactly an umbrella works?..Well according to Wikipedia..It's a canopy designed to protect users from precipitation (rain) or sunlight...
I however, see it like this....The umbrella ensures that the user are always safe from sunlight or rain..protecting him/her from heat and rain, while itself gets wet or hot..
In other words, I see myself as the human umbrella...Willing to protect other people from their own mistakes and take their responsibilities as my own, regardless of whatever the punishment is..."heat" or "rain"...
Truth be told...It could be the human nature within me that I have the urge to help those who are in need...But to put it in another perspective...do they really need help? And what is the situation that they are stuck in?
I remembered that there were times that I actually took the blame for other people, usually friends' mistakes...I took the blame for my PW group when my tutor was inferring about why my group mates' shallow knowledge on our project's subject although 4 months had passed...I told him it was my fault that I did not asked them to look up into the subject and I should be doing that as group leader...
There were also times where my friends were totally let off scot-free where I have to humble myself to undertake their punishment...which I now think I seriously do not deserve...
Guessed that I'm just the kind of person that does not want to see other people suffer...or rather a person that prefers to see himself suffer than others do...
