The Shower...Dum Belle

Performed in front of the J1s this afternoon.....We performed our two pieces...

First one was The Shower....A British song that was composed based on an English poem...

Second one was Dum Belle...A Filipino rain chant...

Both songs are actually at both extremes...The Shower is more of a song full of expression....

"My eyes could weep, my eyes could weep oh my hard heart..."

Dum Belle, however, requires intensity throughout the whole song...stomps and claps included...

Was rather satisfied with choir's performance today because we've finally managed to step out from our stagnant state...and we have gone back on track...

I'm really glad that I've made the decision to brush off my body's cries for lying on my bed for the rest of the day and dashed off the school....although I am late for PE....but hey...I can't go for PE lessons anyway...given the medical condition I'm in....so I guess that means more time to sleep? haha...

Anyway...I wanna share this...

We will....at any point of life....or even multiple points of life...will come across the hardest times of our lives...Perhaps so hard that we find ourselves wondering whether will we be able to rise up to the challenge and walk out of it gallantly...

Nonetheless...it is up to us to decide whether do we want to fight as a warrior....or succumb to cowardice...

What's the point of wielding an Excalibur if there is zero confidence on clinching victory?

The past few months were some of the hardest times I've faced in my life...But right now I'm heading to the right track...

And I believe now it is your turn...

I am going to get my 7As for A levels...I will get my 7As for A levels.. :)
