Top of the food chain...

Had Econs lecture today when one of the tutors was announcing that some of the students have to return to college for the holidays because they need more assistance in getting better results for Econs...especially since the MYE is breathing down our necks right now...

He had the list of students that requires assistance displayed on the screen...One of my classmates weren't happy because his name was on the list too, along with some of my other classmates...I'm not sure what was he doing then, but it seemed like he was asking my tutor why he was recommended to return to college for the extra econs consultations for two weeks into the holidays...

Sure, given that I'm in his shoes, I would not be happy too...But I guess, some find it really hard to swallow when the tutor plays down his/her cards; telling you that you need help...No matter how you think that you could cope through A levels...

When you're part of the tertiary group that is on top of the food chain...There's nothing that can guarantee that you'll stay there unless you work to remain in that hierarchy...

The Indian caste system may be subtle in India's society now, but it could be otherwise for the case of a school or college....

On top would be the La Primiera...Those who are constantly showing results, and would achieve success in A levels...

The secondary caste consists of those who may be the not so talented/gifted ones (bluntly, takes more time to digest subject content), but are ever so willingly to put in much effort to reach the top of the pyramid...

The third one is those who could be the smart ones, but seem to lack the motivation to climb up the social ladder (erm....college social ladder) due to other reasons...(lack of interest? Love binds them?) But not forgetting those who are desperate to climb up the ladder but they cant because they have other commitments...CCAs would be the obvious culprit...

Hmm....wondering are there anymore levels to add onto this pyramid...

I'm going to get my 7As for A levels..I will get my 7As for A levels...
