It's been a while...

Truth be told, it's been a while since i ever blogged about something... mostly because I've been busy with homework and tutorials over here in Singapore.. Especially when you have something called project work coming into your already hectic life....it's a bit waste of time but it's a compulsory subject which eats into your A levels...

Life over here....how to put it....it's a very bumpy roller coaster ride... Well, I guess that's the way life goes...you have happy moments to share with everyone at one time...but depressing times that you choose not to tell anyone about it...Same case for me...it hasn't been smooth sailing for me over here...

True..there are jubilant moments...Outings with my frens...Get to buy 2 new pairs of shoes (both Nike)...new clothes...my own room....do things at my own pace (erm..maybe got some force from tutors...)...but most importantly....I get to do anything I wanted!! Freedom!!

But, on the other side of the ring..things aren't exactly seems what it seems to be...Because of my stay over here....I lost a great deal of things too... a love i once thought it was innocent and pure....vanished right in front of my eyes...friends who never even pondered what had happened of me...let alone inquiring about my existence.. Family is way way far away...one time zone away....Constantly I've been wondering how are parents, brother and sister have been doing...Are they still quarreling? Arguing? Or are they back there living happily?

In life, there's nothing much we can do about situations that can deliver blows that hurt you...stabs that puncture you right through...and at times we often desire to give up whenever we reach the crossroads of our lives...But a hero we may be not because we are born to be...and the same goes for an average person...for it is we...who choose to be one or the other...

Singapore...Many values and ethics I've learned from this wonderful yet bustling country...Resilience....Accepting setbacks...Diligence...Friendship...Love...Virtues that meant the world to me right now....just as my family and friends...
